3 fun ways to practice gratitude daily

It might not surprise you that I’ve been teaching a lot of workshops and classes lately that are focused on the theme of gratitude.

It’s a theme that naturally comes up during this time of year. And the perfect opportunity to practice honing our gratitude skills, one of the Top 3 Skills (in my mind), that supports a strong resiliency muscle.

First, I want to give gratitude to you.

For being a part of this community.

For all of the times you respond to my emails and share what resonates with you.

For trusting me to hold space for you during the harder times of your life.

For allowing me to celebrate the wins and blessings of your life.

For being on this path of growth, learning and living from a place of more and more love each day.

For being a light.

The world is infinitely better because you are in it and I am so grateful for that.

(Now feel free to pay it forward and tell someone today how grateful you are for them 💗)

Second, I wanted to share a Quick 5-Minute Morning Gratitude Meditation with you. If you like doing various practices along with me on YouTube, I would be so grateful if you would subscribe. 🙏

Third, I thought I would share a fun Gratitude Game that I created for one of my classes this week, because one of the things I am always grateful for is fun and playfulness!

How to Play:

  1. Use one dice (or two dice of different colors and pick one color to represent the life category side and one color to represent the number of gratitudes side.

  2. Roll the dice. If using one, roll first to get a number for the life category and second to get the number of gratitudes. If using two, you can roll both at the same time.

  3. Example: If I role a 3 for life category and a 2 for number of gratitudes, I would write 2 gratitudes about my career/purpose in the second box down under the career and purpose category.

  4. Example #2: If next I role a 1 for life category and a 5 for number of gratitudes, I would write 5 gratitudes about my health/fitness in the fifth box down under the health and fitness category.

  5. You can play as long as you like or treat it like Bingo and see how long it takes to filling the boxes in a horizontal, parallel or diagonal line.

I hope you enjoy!

If you celebrate, I’m wishing you a very happy, healthy, and safe Thanksgiving filled with joy, love and laughter. And of course, all of your favorite foods.
